The Community Services Leadership Learning Lab (CSLLL) is a leadership training and implementation initiative, as it transforms leadership and the agency at the same time. The 9-month interactive training is designed to help leaders from pretrial, probation and parole strengthen their leadership skills, rethink organizational structures, and create healthier, more effective workplaces. The CSLLL training is delivered in two phases and designed for people from different leadership positions, from direct supervisors to executive staff to interact with other leaders and have intentional conversations about leadership and culture.
Phase 1 of the training includes six months of learning modules where leaders gather for live virtual learning sessions and work on applying what they’re learning in practical assignments between modules.
In Phase 2 of the training, participants are coached by faculty as they work with colleagues from their organization’s team to apply what they’ve learned to a capstone project that focuses on identifying and implementing meaningful change strategies within their organizations.
A prerequisite for this training is to view an informational webinar that provides an overview of the training and participant commitment expectations.
